슈퍼 컴퓨터 성능 순위 알아보기 (2020년 기준)
슈퍼 컴퓨터 순위 알아보기
슈퍼컴퓨터는 Lenovo, Cray, HP, Sugon, IBM, SGI, Bull, Inspur, Dell, Fujitsu 등의 미국, 중국, 유럽, 일본 등 전 세계 유수의 컴퓨터 제조사들이 주로 제작합니다. 그러나 때로는 연구소 등에서 범용 서버들을 구매하여 자체적으로 제작하는 경우도 있습니다. 과거에는 슈퍼컴퓨터 전용의 벡터 CPU 등 제작사별로 특수한 전문 기술을 사용하는 경우가 대부분이었으나, 최근의 슈퍼컴퓨터 기술 동향은 범용 CPU, 일반 서버에도 사용되는 표준 아키텍쳐, 리눅스 OS 같은 오픈 소스 SW 등 표준적인 기술을 사용하는 것이 일반화 되었습니다. 한국은 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)이 보유한 슈퍼컴퓨터 5호기 ‘누리온 CRAY CS500’ 시스템이 21위 슈퍼컴퓨터에 뽑혔습니다. 한국에는 슈퍼컴퓨터 1호기, 2호기, 3호기, 4호기가 있습니다.

TOP500 슈퍼컴퓨터 목록에서 성능을 보여주는 항목은 Rmax, Rpeak 두가지 입니다. Rmax는 LINPACK 벤치마크를 통해 실제 측정된 최대 Flops 값이며, Rpeak는 시스템에 장착된 프로세서수, 클럭주파수, 성능 factor 값 등을 고려하여 이론적으로 산출된 최대 Flops 값입니다. 우리나라 기상청 슈퍼컴퓨터의 성능 순위는 “세계 슈퍼컴퓨터 순위 사이트인 TOP 500(http://top500.org)에서 확인할 수 있으며, 성능 순위는 매년 6월과 11월에 새로 등재된 슈퍼컴퓨터를 포함하여 발표됩니다.
